Duncan was born in South Africa and has lived in Sweden, the UK, and Chile. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK, and has also worked in organisational strategy and management, and as a history teacher and education lecturer.
As a financial planner, Duncan draws on his diverse career experiences to offer a very personal blend of strategic financial insight and macroeconomic expertise. He is dedicated to educating and guiding clients as they explore their options and tailor their financial plans to best support their individual goals and broader family needs.

Duncan is a self-confessed sports nut with a love for basketball, golf, tennis, fitness training, and surfing. He is also a devoted rugby union fan and has refereed at a high level for more than 10 seasons. Another great love is travel, not only to experience different landscapes and food but to visit friends around the world.
Duncan values time with his wife and three children, loves to read, and is committed to physical and mental wellbeing. He regularly meets up with friends to discuss topical and personal issues, and fundraises for Movember each year.
